You might receive incorrect data when you use the Extract transformation in SAS^® Data Integration Studio. The incorrect number of rows might be returned. The problem occurs under the following conditions:

• You use multiple SAS^® views in a PROC SQL join query.
• The same column or columns are defined in multiple views and in the PROC SQL join query.
• The column definitions in the views contain a column alias or column modifier, such as LENGTH, INFORMAT or FORMAT.
• The column is used on the WHERE or HAVING clause.

To work around this problem, modify the SAS Data Integration Studio job to use the SAS data sets or database tables instead of SAS views.
